{"id":9876,"date":"2023-12-12T16:31:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-12T14:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cedos.org.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=9876"},"modified":"2024-02-28T16:45:45","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T14:45:45","slug":"the-winners-of-the-cedos-and-iep-research-project-grants-open-call","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/cedos.org.ua\/en\/news\/the-winners-of-the-cedos-and-iep-research-project-grants-open-call\/","title":{"rendered":"The Winners of the Cedos and IEP Research Project Grants Open Call"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In September, Cedos and the <a href=\"https:\/\/iep-berlin.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institute for European Policy<\/a> (Institut f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4ische Politik, IEP) announce a competition mini-grants for civil society organizations to implement research projects in hromadas related to recovery and European integration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have received 56 applications, from which the expert jury selected 3 organisations to receive grants of EUR 5,000 each to implement research projects in hromadas. Winners will also receive consulting and&nbsp;expert support&nbsp;in developing research design, methodology, research process, and writing a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The winners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>NGO <a href=\"https:\/\/sylahromady.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Syla Hromady<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is planned to create a single support centre for veterans and their family members in the Kolomyia city community. The purpose of the research is a comprehensive analysis of the problems and needs of veterans in the Kolomyia urban territorial hromada and neighbouring territorial hromadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>NGO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/3.half.percent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3.5 percent<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the project is to investigate the motives of young people and their parents for labour and student migration, helping reveal gaps in local education and employment systems and understand workforce dynamics and skill gaps in order to assist the local authorities with accurate data to develop local strategies and programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>NGO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sevenhora7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seven Storey Mountain<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The research proposal seeks to analyze the integration and application of perennial plants in urban design to enhance sustainability, aesthetics, and quality of life in urban areas. The central idea is to explore how the strategic use of perennials can contribute to environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and aesthetically pleasing urban spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is part of the \u201cUA Transformation Lab\u201d, a joined project by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iep-berlin.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Institut f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4ische Politik<\/a>&nbsp;(IEP),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cedos.org.ua\/\">Cedos<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dif.org.ua\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation<\/a>&nbsp;(DIF) and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/neweurope.org.ua\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Europe Center<\/a>&nbsp;(NEC). It is kindly supported by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.auswaertiges-amt.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">German Federal Foreign Office<\/a>.
