Alina joined Cedos team in 2023. She was an analyst, particularly, in such projects as “Cooperation of communities with the non-governmental sector in the provision of social services”, “Research on the experience and needs of families of missing military personnel”, “Social services for veterans in communities: challenges and needs”.
She advised communities on engaging residents within the projects “Leave No One Behind: Public Participation for Community Recovery Planning” and “Trust through Participation: Informing and Building Community Capacity.”
In 2022-2023, Alina worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Helsinki, studying the situation of Ukrainian forced migrants in Finland, their ways of moving, socio-cultural adaptation and further plans.
In 2020-2021, she participated in studies of social risks and the impact on society of reforms introduced in Ukraine, in particular, land reform and restructuring of state enterprises, projects financed by the World Bank.
In 2019, she was a data analyst on forcibly displaced persons at the International Organization for Migration. Alina also has experience in marketing research and in research of small and medium-sized business in Ukraine.
