Event announcement
On Tuesday, May 21, at 11:00 Kyiv time, we invite you to an online workshop on the opportunities of the EU funding programmes for municipalities.
The status of a candidate in the European Union opens up new opportunities for Ukraine to participate in EU funding programmes in various areas. We will talk about the opportunities that exist for hromadas and focus on key points to consider when choosing a programme.
During the workshop, we will:
- briefly review the available programmes in which hromadas can participate;
- consider key tips for preparing competitive projects for international institutions;
- discuss the experience and success stories gained through the Mayors for Economic Growth “Response and Renewal” grant programmes, as well as learning opportunities available through the online learning platform Urban Learning Center;
- take a closer look at the Horizon Europe programmes;
- look at the Ukraine facility and how it can be used by hromadas.

- Natalia Khinotska, Head of the Project "Support to EU engagement with civil society organisations in Ukraine II";
- Ihor Taranov, Head of the Department Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine.
Simultaneous translation from English to Ukrainian and from Ukrainian to English will be provided during the event.
